Originally trained as a Fine Artist, Parr’s journey began with a First Class BA Honours Degree. Her path led her to Chelsea College of Art, where she delved into Set Design. This venture unfolded into a prolific 25-year career in Production Design. Parr left an indelible mark on iconic sets for prestigious events like the Brit Awards, Shooting Stars, and the BBC’s coverage of the 2006 World Cup. Her creative touch extended to crafting stages for music legends, including David Bowie, Kylie, Cher, and Robbie Williams.
In 2007, Gina Parr embarked on a pivotal journey back to her roots as an artist. Drawing from her extensive design experience, she brought a unique perspective to her artwork, marking a significant chapter in her creative evolution. Since then, Parr has exhibited in galleries and art fairs across the UK, Denmark, Italy, and France, gaining recognition for her captivating exploration of the human condition.
Gina Parr’s artistic impact is underscored by her affiliations, including being an associate member of the SWA (Society of Women Artists) and an Artist Network member at the RWA Bristol.
